Directions:
Serving suggestions.
In a salad bowl.
An attractive presentation here is to place the pasta in a salad bowl,
tossing with several spoonfuls of the dressing. Make a large central
nest in the pasta, line it with the basil leaves, and spoon the tomato
relish in the center. Spoon on a little of the dressing. Either let
guests serve themselves, or toss the salad gently at the table.
Individual bowls.
Or make separate servings for each guest, each with an individual bowl.
Additions.
You could well enlarge on this idea, adding a modest amount of cooked
shrimp or lobster, strips of ham, or slivers of feta or goat cheese.
However, too much elaboration takes away from the simple delight of
ripe tomatoes, basil, and pasta.
